What's happening
A visual extravaganza which stars the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. The story revolves around Charlie (Shah Rukh Khan) and his team of misfits, who come together to form Team India which will win the hearts of millions through with their dance performance and carry off an impossible heist too. Charlie's team comprises of Tammy (Boman Irani), Jag (Sonu Sood), Mohini (Deepika Padukone), Nandu (Abhishek Bachchan) and Rohan (Vivaan).
Charlies's team of disparate characters may be losers but they all have a common goal. To win the biggest dance event in the world, the World Dance Championships. This even is being hosted in Dubai where different world-class teams have gathered. However, just winning this competition which is held during the New Year, is not Charlie's agenda. He has a different plan altogether.
