'The Lunchbox' is a well-told old-fashioned romance, which gracefully takes us through the trials, tribulations, fears and hopes of everyday people in this glamour-filled city of Mumbai. It also brings back memories of the days when people used to communicate through hand-written letters, when the world had not heard of cell phones or emails.
It is the story of loneliness faced by two different individuals who get in touch with each other through the mistaken delivery of a lunchbox by the famous and efficient 'Dabbawalas'.
